This year LEGO has a new sets prince of persia themes. Working along with disney for the upcoming prince of persia movie titled "Sands of Time". These sets have a very attractive color and lots of tan. For those of you who loves this color, these sets is a must have.

10211 Grand Emporium Box Art

This exclusive set will be the 5th modular building and it has a cafe corner type of building. It has an outside details: Life in the street, people carrying groceries, ice-cream stall, mail box, litter bin, flowers. Window cleaner busy cleaning the third floor windows. "Shop" written in LEGO bricks. Access to building through revolving door.

The first floor will include: Clothing department with fitting room, window models, clothes, hats, perfume, etc. for sale. Cash register isle. Continue to second and third floor via built escalator.
Second floor: Tableware for sale.
Third floor: Great built chandelier. Toys department with built scooter and "Creator house".
Roof with billboard and skylight. Seven mini-figures. Lots of built details and rare elements.

Micro construction

This micro construction was made by r10cyd from KLI forum, he never stop creating new invention and his imagination always amazed me. I love the way he made micro bulldoser, even in the micro size he managed to put everything inplace and still make a very good diorama. Great job Rio.

Optimus Prime MOC

r10cyd from KLI made this wonderfull Transformable Optimus Prime, currently displayed at FX LEGO event in Jakarta. Too bad I can't take it out from the display case to make a good photo. Good work r10cyd, I'm waiting for another great mecha from you.

Jakarta FX LEGO event

Last saturday I went to Jakarta and I saw these Mini Indonesia LEGO event at FX mall. Some of my friend from Indonesian LEGO community (KLI) made these marvelous Indonesian building, from Candi Borobudur to Jakarta central train station. There's some other classic Indonesian house from Sabang to Merauke. You can see the rest at my flickr page

When you don't have enough brick, you can use virtual brick to make your project. Lately I find that cinema4D makes a very good render of these bricks. You can find a lot of virtual bricks program like LDD, bricksmith, MLCAD or LDraw. If you are interested in these program you can try them because most of them are free.

A friend of mine told me that there's a LEGO illustrated bible in the web so I search the internet and found this www.bricktestament.com. You should see this illustrated bible, it's enjoyable & made from LEGO! I think Rev. Brendan Powell Smith is a great LEGO artist. I would like to interview him about the making of Brick Testament.

Build a house on the beach!
This set is a must have. If you need more buildings in your city, this is a good set to get. It's minifigure size too bad it came without any minifigs and you get only two rooms in the house, one is the down stairs which also contains a fireplace and the other one upstairs which connects to the balcony. I noticed it came with new doors & windows,a very pretty design and on the outside there's a barbecuing area with the grill and chicken, a patio with table, umbrella and chairs! Realistic details include mailbox, doorbell, flowers, walkway, light fixtures, chimey, tree and lots of windows!
